A specialized upper-extremity occupational therapy tool designed to rebuild grip strength, fine motor coordination, and functional prehension. By utilizing calibrated hook-and-loop resistance, the user pulls, detaches, and manipulates wooden or dense foam cubes from a loop-lined baseboard or surface. This provides progressive graded resistance without requiring weights or elastic bands.

Description

Adjustable Resistive Pull: Hook-and-loop fastener strips create controlled isometric and isotonic resistance during grasping, pulling, and placement tasks.
Pinch & Grip Retraining: Ideal for developing lateral pinch, palmar pinch, cylindrical grasp, and spherical grasp.
Upper Extremity Kinetic Chain Activation: Engaging the cubes on a table or wall mount recruits wrist extensors, forearm pronators/supinators, and shoulder stabilizers.
Tactile & Proprioceptive Feedback: The auditory and mechanical feedback of peeling the Velcro aids sensory retraining and neuromuscular re-education
